MotoGP Le Mans: Lowes open to future clash with twin Alex

British Moto2 title challenger Sam Lowes is open to MotoGP return but also won’t rule out a future clash with twin brother and WorldSBK star Alex.

Lowes spent one disastrous season in the premier class with Gresini Aprilia and was replaced by Scott Redding who also only lasted one year but with the lack of UK riders in MotoGP, the door could open again for Lowes.

"Yeah, I’ve been and I don’t really count it as a season because it was not so good. I would obviously go back if right opportunity, and if somebody really wanted me to do it and supported me in doing so,” Lowes told bikesportnews.com.

“It’s a difficult one, it’s hard to find the right the right machine or the right team. Of course, in future, we don’t know but definitely at some point I want to ride against Alex, there’s some options there but I think it’s maybe a bit early.”
