MotoGP Le Mans: Quartararo pinches pole from Miller

MotoGP series leader Fabio Quartararo stole pole position from under the nose of Jack Miller this afternoon with Danilo Petrucci coming from qualifying one to the front row.

Quartararo set a 1’31.315 with his final effort on soft Michelins all round to beat Ducati’s Miller by 0.222s while Petrucci’s lap kept the heroic Cal Crutchlow off the front row by 0.012s.

Crutchlow set a 1’31.686 and it looked like he was going to start from third but he was pushed back to fourth, trailing Quartararo by 0.371s.
