Ducati’s Andrea Iannone will take no further part in this weekend’s Misano MotoGP action after a crash in free practice one saw him taken to hospital for scans.
The Italian crashed at turn 11 after braking on the kerb and going down. He was taken to Cesena Hospital for further checks and found injuries to two vertebrae.
“It is unfortunate by I think Andrea will not take part in the rest of the weekend. He is coming back to the garage soon,” said Ducati Corse boss Paolo Ciabatti.
