Petronas Sprinta Racing’s John McPhee arrives for a second shot at Misano fresh from his first Moto3 podium of the year.

McPhee is looking to continue his positive momentum from COTA, and while this year’s San Marino GP didn’t go to plan for the Scot, a win at the circuit last season and second in 2019 shows that he should be well in the mix this weekend, with the aim of back-to-back podium finishes.
 
“I’m really excited to arrive at Misano for the second race there this season, especially after the progress we made in Austin last time out: being up there fighting for the victory and finishing on the podium,” McPhee said.

“We managed to make a good step forward with the overall package and I’m excited now to focus on Misano and see what we can achieve in this next race there.

"The circuit was kind to us last year with a victory in the first of the two events there in 2020. I’m heading into this weekend with strong motivation to get another good result and to make sure that we finish the final few races of this season in the best possible way.”
