MOTOGP MISANO: LAVERTY AFTER MORE POINTS THIS WEEKEND

Ireland's Eugene Laverty has said his target for this weekend's 250cc MotoGP race at Misano is another point-scoring finish to match the result he got there last year.
The youngster narrowly missed out on a 15th place at the last round in Brno but said he is confident at the Italian track because, although the back straight will be hard for his Blusens Aprilia, the corner speed he can carry off it and around the rest of the track is key.
"I got a point at Misano last year and I think I can do it again this time around," said Laverty. "I like the track and I am actually not too bothered about being down on horsepower. Even though some of the bikes are much faster along the back straight, they can't go into the next three fast right flat stick like I can, so we can make some time up there.
"I think trying to beat Baldolini is my benchmark for the weekend. If I can do that I will be happy."
