Britain's 250GP star Eugene Laverty is pinning his hopes on some overnight setup changes at Misano in order to get back to the form he showed in practice on Friday.
The Irish youngster had a catalogue of nightmares through today's free practice and qualifying which meant he was unable to match his lap times from yesterday - and a crash which had bruised his chest and legs hasn't helped matter.
"I got bumped down to 17th right at the end of the session," said Laverty from Misano. "The who day is definitely not as good as it could have been. I was on used tyres on Friday and it was going well. But we switched to new tyres today and the changes we made to setup just didn't work.
"I really want some points tomorrow. I am not sure if I can hang on to the group that is in front of me, but I will try my hardest and see what happens."
