British 125GP rider Matt Hoyle will sit out this weekend's MotoGP round as his Haojue team has decided they are not competitive enough and are concentrating on development.
The reigning British Champion hasn't had an easy time during in his World Championship debut year but his bike is brand new and in the early stages of it's racing life.
"The early GP results show that we are not yet competitive, so we have decided to concentrate our resources on developing and improving the situation. The areas where we are weak are clearly obvious and we need to focus on rectifying them," explained team director Garry Taylor.
