Petronas Yamaha’s Franky Morbidelli has revealed that his crew will replace all the parts that could have influenced his poor performance in the opening MotoGP of the season last weekend.
Morbidelli only had Lorenzo Savadori behind him last Sunday as he had ‘no feeling’ from the Ohlins shock but confirmed his holeshot device had activated and deactivated as normal.
“We have been trying to analyse what what happened last weekend. We could not pinpoint a clear item that made us so slow in the race,” said Morbidelli, speaking at the track.
“We could see that there was a problem with the start device on the data, but apparently it was solved, and then on the race day the device was working okay.
“But still, my feeling was bad, and my performance even worse, so we are going to change every item that we have a doubt on. Hopefully, the problems that I had not just in the race but during the weekend will go away.”
