Rumours currently setting fire to the Qatar MotoGP paddock are putting Johann Zarco firmly in a Repsol Honda spot for the 2019-2020 seasons, as the silly season gets into full swing.
Marc Marquez has already put pen to paper with the squad but the introduction of Alberto Puig has caused some waves as he is a former personal manager of Dani Pedrosa and as they always say, you are an ex for a reason.
Zarco is the hottest property in the championship right now and his manager Laurent Fellon has had a ticket system and revolving door installed outside his office. Yamaha managing director Lin Jarvis has hinted there could be a third works M1 available next season for the right rider/team, which would lead to the question why hasn't Zarco got one now?
The Frenchman will have an option to go to KTM with Tech3 next year but with HRC, Marc VDS and more than likely Suzuki all waving their chequebooks, he has got time to evaluate...
