Factory Yamaha's Valentino Rossi reckons that making up the gap to the Honda of Dani Pedrosa before tomorrow's Sepang MotoGP qualifying session will be hard but he says he has already found a good setting on his YZR-M1.
Rossi ended today a second down on leader Pedrosa but only half a second to Marc Marquez. He added that although his pace on a new tyre was good, he was especially happy with his times on a used tyre - a good indicator for Sunday.
"For me, especially this afternoon, was a good practice because we improve a lot the setting of the bike. We improve with the new tyre and especially the old tyre and stay with a quite good pace," said The Doctor, speaking at Sepang.
"For sure we have to work for some improve. The problem are the two Hondas that look like they are a bit faster than us. For sure I will try to catch them as in the last races Jorge always able to fight with the Hondas. It will be hard but we have to concentrate, we are not very far but it looks like we have some small gap to recover."
