MotoGP title challnger Andrea Dovizioso says he can fight for the win in both wet and dry conditions after blasting to second place on the grid for tomorrow’s Sepang MotoGP.
The factory Ducati rider has been quick in both wet and dry practices this weekend but says it is more difficult to know who can challenge should it rain tomorrow as the field has only had one practice - which he topped by half a second.
“In the wet we are very competitive but with just one practice it wasn’t easy to understand the speed of everybody and Marc was quite fast. In the dry, it looks like Marc is struggling but in races he is really strong but a lot of rider have a good pace so we are concentrate to try and win the race, “ said Dovizioso, speaking at the track.
“I am happy with my feeling because we came here with a big gap from Marc and the only way is to be competitive in every condition. It was our target and we can now say we are competitive in dry and wet. We had a question mark in the dry, but in FP4 the bike work very well with the used tyre so I am very happy for the race tomorrow.”
