Marc VDS’ Sam Lowes will take no further part in the British Grand Prix after sustaining a dislocated shoulder at Silverstone.
The unfortunate Englishman suffered a luxation of the left shoulder after a highside at turn six on only his third lap of the morning practice. He has therefore been ruled out of the remainder of the weekend after being declared unfit by the MotoGP medical team.
The lunation has been successfully reduced and Lowes will continue to undergo further medical checks over the next few hours.
