Silverstone’s MotoGP round has switched to September 4 from its provisional July 17 date which is now occupied by the German round at the Sachsenring.
The Sepang round has also moved to October 13 and is now the penultimate round while the Valencia finale is now on November 13. The reason behind the changes are alterations to the F1 calendar. Dorna and Bernie Ecclestone have an agreement that the two are not run on the same weekend due to TV schedule clashes as MotoGP would be binned in favour of F1.
