MotoGP Termas: Crutchlow denies Repsol Honda contract talks

Britain's Cal Crutchlow has denied any negotiations have taken place to secure him a place in the Repsol Honda squad next to Marc Marquez from next season.

The LCR Honda man is, like everyone else, out of contract at the end of this year and his replacing Dani Pedrosa in the factory team has been the subject of much speculation.

"I think first of all we have to give respect to the situation. It's Dani Pedrosa's job we are talking about and people speculating about this, I don't know how they would feel about people talking about their job," said Crutchlow speaking at the track.

"But nothing has been discussed at all. In the end I ride for LCR Honda, my job is to do a great job for them, try to be as competitive and fast as I can. We are here to race for us, our sponsors and myself.

"I saw an article saying that I was 'gunning for Pedrosa's seat'. In the end, the only thing I'm doing is gunning to get a good result for my LCR Honda team. As I've said, inot been mentioned and I've made not comment on it at all."
