The Spaniard effctively has two KTMs in front of him with his own Estrella Galicia team-mate Alex Rins on the second row with a KTM to either side of him in the hands of Isaac Vinales and Karel Hanika.
Scotland’s John McPhee ended in eighth place and said he was disappointed after being run off the track by his own stable-mate Efren Vasquez while Danny Kent is hoping his pace on used tyre will bring him to the fore later in tomorrow’s outing. He qualified in 11th place.
