Angel Piqueras and Ryuesi Yamanaka will ride for MT Helmets - MSi in the 2025 Moto3 World Championship.
The MT Helmets - MSi squad has announced their 2025 Moto3 rider lineup after announcing their Moto2 lineup in August.
Ryusei Yamanaka will remain with the team for a second season after joining at the start of the 2024 season. The Japanese rider is 11th in the Moto3 World Championship and has a best result of third place at the Italian Grand Prix.
Joining the team in 2025 to replace Ivan Ortola is Angerl Piqueras. It has been speculated for months that the Spaniard would join the team and now it is official. The Moto3 rookie has spent his first year in the category with Leopard Racing and has won a race this season. However, next season he will switch from a Honda to a KTM.
Angel Piqueras said: "I'm very happy to join this big family. I think it's a good decision and I'm looking forward to starting next season with the new bike. Let's see how we do.”
Ryusei Yamanaka said: “I am happy to continue next year with the MTHelmets-MSi. It's the first time I've been on the same team two years in a row and that gives me confidence. The structure has a very positive evolution, also having participation in the Moto2 category. Thank you very much for continuing to believe in me.”
