Repsol Honda superstar Marc Marquez will not require surgery on the collarbone he dislocated in a morning warm-up crash at Silverstone's MotoGP round last Sunday.
The youngster launched his RC213V into the gravel at Vale, hitting Cal Crutchlow's stricken Monster Yamaha that had been placed there seconds earlier, and popped his left shoulder out. It was re-located and he still managed to fight for the win.
Marquez has been examined by Dr Xavier Mir and although he confirmed there was some ligament damage, it would not require surgery.
