Samsung Honda's Jason O'Halloran will again switch his Motorpoint British Supersport CBR600 for the JiR Moto2 bike as he re-joins the team at this weekend's Misano MotoGP round.

O'Halloran, who was on the Donington Park podium last weekend, made his debut at Silverstone and finished in 25th place after a real trial-by-fire weekend.

"I’m very happy to be joining Team JiR in Misano. It was great to work with them at Silverstone, it was a big learning weekend and we improved in every session. Now for Misano, I know the bike a little bit and I know the team so I will learn the circuit on Friday and we will push for a points scoring race. I am happy to be a part of team JiR and the Moto2 Championship, I thank Gianluca and the whole team for the opportunity," said O'Halloran.
