Samsung Honda's Jason O'Halloran will join the JiR Moto2 team this weekend as he wildcards for the JiR team at Silverstone's MotoGP round.
The Australian, a front runner in the Motorpoint British Supersport Championship, knows the circuit well and goes into the race on the back of a podium at Cadwell park on Monday.
"I am really looking forward to the weekend. The Moto2 championship is a series I look up to and follow closely so it will be an honour and a privilege to be a part of it," said O'Halloran.
It will be hard to predict any results just yet as I've never sat on a Moto2 bike, let alone ridden one but I think that coming from Supersport is probably easier than from the Superbike class. Either way, I am going into Silverstone off the back of two good results so my confidence is high."
