Pedrosa focusing on MotoGP second place scrap with Rossi

Repsol Honda MotoGP bridesmaid Dani Pedrosa will focus on the fight he is in with Valentino Rossi for second in the MotoGP standings at Motorland Aragon this weekend.

The tiny Spaniard has a one-point advantage over the Movistar Yamaha man going into the race where last year a collision with team-mate Marc Marquez saw Pedrosa spat viciously over the highside of his RC213V after a rear-wheel sensor was broken, eliminating his traction control.

“Last year obviously wasn’t the best for me, but apart from that I've always done well in Aragón and I'm looking forward to racing in front of our home crowd again, the support is always great and gives you motivation,” said Pedrosa.

“Obviously Marc has a huge lead in the Championship but there is only a single point between me and Valentino, so my priority is to win races and open that margin to take second in the standings.”
