Crocked Repsol Honda MotoGP star Dani Pedrosa is planning to take part in next weekend's Laguna Seca race despite suffering a fractured collarbone in Germany and being declared unfit to race.
The decision may well adjust the attitude of Jorge Lorenzo, who said on Saturday he wasn't going to go America even though his Yamaha team said they were taking his bikes and crew to the California circuit.
Pedrosa is just two points behind team-mate Marc Marquez in the championship standings after missing out on a potential 25-point score at the Sachsenring.
"Dani is feeling better and at the moment the plan is to be in Laguna," said a Tweet from HRC.
