Casey Stoner will have the currently-unnamed turn three at Phillip Island dedicated to him in a ceremony at the circuit on Thursday.

Turn three sits between the Southern Loop and Honda, and Stoner will become the third rider to have his moniker attached to part of the track. Turn one is named after Mick Doohan and Wayne Gardner was honoured with having the main straight named after him.
