Valentino Rossi has said the heavily-rumoured departure of Ducati MotoGP technical director Filippo Preziosi changes nothing for him even though the development of the GP12 may have gone in a different direction without the 'Godfather of the Desmosedici'.
Valencia's paddock is on fire with informed speculation that Ducati's new owners Audi have replaced Preziosi with ex-World Superbike boss Paolo Ciabatti - himself a former Ducati employee - but Rossi, who couldn't confirm the move, said he would have still gone back to Yamaha had it happened earlier.
"I don't know if it is true. Filippo don't say nothing to me about this so maybe is just rumour. I will race with another bike, another team so I am sorry for Filippo because I know him very well But, you, know is not my problem. For me, no, it change nothing," said The Doctor, speaking at Valencia.
