Preparation for 2023 ramps up just as soon as the current MotoGP season has concluded with the traditional one-day test confirmed at Valencia for November 8th 2022.
Dates for next year’s official tests across the three classes have also been announced as the provisional calendar takes in Sepang and Portimao before the MotoGP season kicks off on European soil for 2023, with Moto2 and Moto3 concentrating its efforts on the Iberian peninsula at both Jerez’s Angel Nieto Circuit and Portugal’s Algarve International.
In-season testing has also been scheduled following race weekends at Jerez and Misano for the premier class while the Spanish GP is extended further for the junior classes and Silverstone gets in on the action with a Moto2/Moto3 day after the British GP.

Valencia Test: 8th November
Sepang Shakedown Test: 5th – 7th February
Sepang Test: 10th – 12th February
Portimão Test: 11th – 12th March
Jerez Test: 1st May
Misano Test: 11th September
Moto2 and Moto3 2023 testing schedule:
Moto3: 9th – 10th March (private test but all teams present)
Moto2: 14th – 15th March (private test but all teams present)
Moto2 and Moto3 Test: 17th – 19th March
Jerez Moto2 and Moto3 Test: 2nd May
Silverstone Moto2 and Moto3 Test: 7th August
