Young Londoner Gino Rea will commence his Moto2 wildcard campaign at the Le Mans round after being unable to secure a place at Jerez.
Two Spanish riders have taken priority over the Brit but he will line-up in Grance under his own Gino Rea Race Team or GRR8T, as it has been dubbed.
"Despite this minor setback, the FTR Moto2 bike will be built within the next two weeks and Gino will begin testing in preparation for Le Mans Round 4 of the Moto2 World Championship," said a GRR8T spokesman.
