Jorge Martin took his third Sprint Race victory of the 2023 MotoGP World Championship as he dashed into the distance at Misano from pole position.
The Spaniard held the lead from the opening bend after getting the hole-shot before keeping his rivals at arm's length to the flag to collect maximum Saturday points.
Having stormed to pole position by a vast margin, Martin was always going to be difficult to beat around the Emilia-Romagna venue and proved as much by controlling the race from start-to-finish.
Winning by a second from Bezzecchi, with Pecco Bagnaia coming home in third place, it reduces the margin to the front to 45 points.
Second for Bezzecchi and third for Bagnaia represented strong results considering their respective injuries as they ensured only minor changes in the title battle.
In fourth, Dani Pedrosa scored an excellent result in only his second appearance of the season aboard the KTM Factory Racing KTM RC16, just a couple of tenths off a shock podium, while Brad Binder joined him in the top five too.
Maverick Vinales lost ground at the start but resisted the attentions of Luca Marini for seventh, while Aleix Espargaro and Alex Marquez completed the points.
