CIP Green Power rider, Scott Ogden, continues to improve after a positive day one at the Jerez Moto3 Test.

This week the Moto3 and Moto2 riders will be on track at Jerez for a three-day pre-season test.

Scott Ogden continues to work and improve with the CIP Green Power Team. The British rider set his personal best lap time at Portimao last week and continues to feature at the front at Jerez.

Ogden missed the opening session of the first day due to an engine issue. However, he did feature in the second and third sessions.

His best lap time across the opening day was a 1:45.428, which placed him ninth overall when the times from the three sessions were combined.

"We have finished the first day in Jerez," Ogden said on Tuesday on his social media.

"We had a couple of issues in the morning with the engine going out. But everyone worked hard to change the engine, we put another test engine in.

"I got some laps this afternoon, but the weather got a little bit worse. The wind was quite bad and the temperature was getting colder but I was able to keep improving my lap time.

"In the end in the last session, I finished third. I think overall I was ninth but we missed the first session, which was the fastest one.

"We have just got to keep working and keep enjoying and see what we can do across the next two days."

Ogden's test schedule will continue throughout Wednesday and Thursday at the Spanish circuit.
