Valentino Rossi's second attempt at a decent test session at Motorland Aragon today was another washout, with The Doctor only getting in a handful of dry laps on the Yamaha YZR-M1 before the rain fell again.
Rossi was only able to test in the wet at Valencia yesterday, so the whole team moved three hours north and further inland to try and get some better weather but it beat them again.
Yamaha were sharing the track with the Honda, Ducati, BMW and Kawasaki World Superbike teams but no-one did any significant testing all day with most sitting around in their leathers.
“Yesterday I was able to do 30 laps in the very wet and the feeling was good. Good to be back, good feeling with the bike," said Rossi.
“Yamaha decided to move here, because the forecast looked like there would be better weather, but unfortunately not.
“It was very important for Yamaha to make some laps in the dry to understand two or three things for next year's bike. But also here at Aragon it was impossible. Now we have to wait until February.”
