Reigning MotoGP World Champion will test at Sepang despite cutting his hand and foot in a curtain-closing incident. The Doctor managed to trip and fall into a glass table at his house, which broke and cut his left-hand ring finger and left foot.

After a brief trip to hospital to see some, erm, doctors he was stitched up and allowed home. A Fiat Yamaha spokesdoctor said: "The injuries are not serious but it is not yet clear whether or not they will make him uncomfortable when riding this week. Nevertheless Rossi will fly out to Malaysia today as planned, where he will try to give 100% at the first test of the season, which starts on Thursday."
