Sullivan Mounsey has signed for the Aspar Junior Team for the 2025 FIM Junior GP World Championship.
In the 2025 season, Sullivan Mounsey will compete in the FIM Junior GP World Championship as well as the Red Bull Rookies Cup.
The 17-year-old signed for the Aspar Junior Team after completing one year in the Red Bull Rookies Cup in 2024.
In 2023 Mounsey finished runner-up in the British Talent Cup Championship. He was then selected for the 2024 Red Bull Rookies Cup, in which he claimed a best result of 12th.
“I’m ecstatic to be joining the Aspar Team Junior family,” Mounsey said. “Ever since I was a kid, Aspar was one of my favourites on the MotoGP game. So, to come from playing on an Xbox, to racing a CFMOTO for Aspar is phenomenal. It’s such a proud moment to be given this opportunity, I feel it is an important step in my career.
“I know the team will be able to help me be at one with the bike, they have such a fantastic infrastructure to support and bring on young riders, I can’t wait to start working with everyone. Most of all now I’m with Aspar I believe I can achieve my potential, and I look forward to flying the Aspar flag proudly on my journey. Roll on 2025!”
The Aspar Team are an established team within the MotoGP paddock an has drawn a lot of attention in 2024. The team's Moto3 squad won the Moto3 riders title with David Alonso after he won 14 races throughout the year. Jake Dixon has also spent the last three years with Aspar in Moto2, during which he won four races.
