Fabio di Giannantonio has praised Valentino Rossi's MotoGP squad after completing his debut season with the team.

After one year with the Pertamina Enduro VR46 Racing Team, Fabio di Giannantonio has praised Valentino Rossi's MotoGP outfit.

The Italian compared Rossi's team to a 'factory team' and has claimed that it is 'in another league' compared to other satellite teams.

The VR46 Racing Team first entered Grand Prix Racing in 2014 in the Moto3 World Championship. The project later expanded into Moto2 in 2017 before winning the Moto2 World Championship in 2018 with Francesco Bagnaia.

Rossi's squad finally made their way into MotoGP with the Sky VR46 Avintia Ducati MotoGP Team. However, they would not become their own team until 2022.

For 2025 the team will claim official status from Ducati 2025 after Pramac switched to Yamaha. Di Giannantonio will benefit from this status as he will be given a Ducati GP25 in 2025, which is his second season with the VR46 Racing Team.

“It has been my best season of my career," Di Giannantonio said after the 2024 season. "I have never been so consistent and so in a high level, because in MotoGP I never had this level all year long."

“Also this year has been tough for many reasons, also apart from the injury the bike was not that easy. But we were there and always fighting. And before my injury, I just finished Silverstone just behind Pecco [Bagnaia] and [Marc] Marquez.

“So, could have been a really great year for us. But we have to take out the positives. I grew a lot as a rider and also as a person.

“This is thanks also to the team because the team is amazing. Believe me, this team is in another league. This team is fantastic. It’s a factory team.”
