Tech3 Yamha's James Toseland and Colin Edwards will not be taking part in today's testing at Valencia and will be the only two riders to miss out on trying the new Bridgestone tyres.

The pair will not get their new YZR-M1 bikes until February and team boss Herve Poncharal did not know whether the new single-spec tyres would be available to all teams today.

The duo now have time to relax before the team get their 2009 preparations rolling for the IRTA tests at Jerez in November. They will have the new tyres available to them, but not new bikes.
