Whilst the MotoGP riders enjoy their lunch in the middle of the MotoGP Misano Test here is what some riders are testing.

As well as the riders testing new parts and machines at Misano Michelin has also delivered their new 2025 front slick tyre for the riders to test on Monday afternoon.

The LCR Honda duo have said that they will be testing a new aerodynamic package and new chassis. Johann Zarco was very honest when he slammed the 2024 Honda RC213V on Sunday evening before the test.

"I know I will try new aerodynamics and chassis because we need to change big things to make the bike better," Zarco said. "This 2024 project does not work at all. I mean it is not competitive so we need to go in another direction to open new doors."

"The Monday test will be really important," Nakagami said after the San Marino Grand Prix. "I have information from HRC that I will be testing a new aero package, and some other things like chassis'. We are missing a lot so we will try to improve the performance of the bike."

Brad Binder is one of the two KTM riders staying with the Austrian manufacturer next season. It seems safe to say that the South African will share the majority of testing with Dani Pedrosa at Misano. Binder's first goal for the Misano Test today was to understand the new bike Pol Espargaro has been developing.

Before the test Binder said: "From what I understand Pol (Espargaro) is on quite a different package and I think priority number is to try that. I need to get the first real test done on that or see what my first impression is of that bike and the package that he has been working on.

"Secondly, to be creative, we can really try and improve and find things that help us improve right now. It is still a long season and anything we can find that could help will be much appreciated."

Jack Miller has also been moved into the GasGas Tech3 garage as Pedrosa takes his spot in the Red Bull KTM garage. Miller and Augusto Fernandez are reportedly sharing a bike, Fernandez took part in the morning session and Miller will take over this afternoon.

With Francesco Bagnaia still suffering from injuries and Enea Bastianini departing for KTM in 2025 the factory Ducati riders could have a smaller test plan for today.

Jorge Martin has stated that he will not be receiving any new parts for his Ducati today. Most likely due to his decision to switch to Aprilia in 2025.

"I do not think I will have any new parts," Martin said. "I will just be trying to improve parts of my riding like my time attacks, so I will take my time to improve."

Whereas Franco Morbidelli who is staying with Ducati will be testing new parts to improve the feeling of the Desmosedici in 2025.

"We are going to test some things to improve the feeling," Morbidelli said on Sunday evening. "Even if it is already very good there is always room to improve. There are always some areas to get better at so we will try to make that work tomorrow."

After a recent private test in Misano and testing new parts throughout the weekend in the San Marino Grand Prix Fabio Quartararo is hoping for an early finish to his Misano Test.

"It is not a big day because we tested a lot of things during the Grand Prix already. So I think we will finish quite early tomorrow."

Aprilia:

Aprilia only have one of their current four riders staying with the team in 2025 so their Misano test will be interesting. With not many new parts being present at the test the riders will be trying to improve their settings to gain more grip and braking power.

"We are struggling to stop the bike and with a lack of grip," Aleix Espargaro explained before the Misano Test.

"Which is strange because Misano is one of the high-grip tracks on the calendar, but we are struggling. We are not at the level of our rivals, we have some ideas to try tomorrow to change some settings for the next round here. I don't think we have many new parts for the future, but we will see."
