Due to foggy conditions at Laguna Seca this morning, Saturday's AMA Superbike practice session has been cancelled.
The AMA Superbike stars won't return to the track until they qualify for tomorrow afternoon's 28-lapper earlier that morning, making an already light weekend for the class that much lighter.
Fortunately, two official trips to the circuit each season in addition to testing visits for most of the top teams means that the AMA Superbike challengers generally hit the ground running at Laguna Seca, as evidenced by Mat Mladin's MotoGP-caliber lap time posted on Friday morning.
