It would seem that the new US Superbike series could already be a thing of the past as AMA Superbike boss Roger Edmonson has stated he has secured co-operation from every current track used in 2008 - plus he may have added two more.
Edmonson says that all the current tracks have either signed a letter of intent or shaken hand to run AMA Superbikes in 2009 plus, subject to a safety committee inspection, there could be races at Heartland park in Topeka and New Jersey Motorsports Park.
There is also a high probability that AMA will run classes at the Miller Motorsport Park World Superbike round and at Laguna MotoGP.
