MCE British Superbike star Tommy Bridewell has completed a two-day test with the Penz13.com BMW at Suzuka and is pleased with his progress despite wet weather.

Bridewell joined Markus Reiterberger and Bastien Mackels in the squad which will contest the prestigious race later this month with Bridewell setting the quickest time during the one dry session.

“It was a good test even though the weather was not playing into our hands. In that sight it was kind of hard to evaluate and develop the needs and settings of us riders and the BMW S 1000 RR for the race later in July,” said Bridewell.

“But for me it was just nice to ride around here again and my lap times were strong as well.”
