Britain's Neil Hodgson rounded out the AMA Pro Racing tests with overall fastest time in the American Superbike class while Anglo-American rider Jamie Hacking was quickest in Daytona Sportbike.
Hodgson, on the Corona Honda, was marginally faster than Ducati's Larry Pegram who, in turn was more than a second faster than Yamaha's Ben Bostrom with team-mate Josh Hayes fourth.
Talking to our friends at roadracingworld.com, Hodgson said: I’m well happy with that. It is impressive. I’ve said from day one that Honda made a really good road bike with the CBR1000RR. Stock, it is fantastic. That’s pretty much what we rode last year was a Superstock bike with a bit more compression, so this year is not that different, really.”
