Roads ace Gary Johnson has been drafted in to the Honda TT Legends World Endurance squad and will partner Simon Andrews, John McGuinness and Cameron Donald in the series.
Johnson, who won his first Isle of Man race in 2011 when he took victory in the second Supersport encounter, will race for Padgett's Honda on the roads but with Honda Racing UK in the Metzeler National Superstock 1000 Championship. Does this make Johnson and Andrews the most versatile racers in the world?
"I’ve wanted to get involved in endurance racing for years so I’m really excited about riding for the Honda TT Legends. It is by far the most professional team I have worked with and I’m looking forward to being a part of it. It’s a brilliant opportunity to travel to and race at many circuits that I haven’t ridden before. I’ve no doubt that it is going to be a challenge, but it is one that I am more than up for," said the Lincolnshire man.
