World renowned track-riding meisters the Ron Haslam Race School will return to their spiritual home of Donington Park from April 2013.
After the disastrous Simon Gillet era, which saw the circuit almost disappear in a sea of F1 nonsense and unfulfilled promises, the school shifted to Silverstone but now they will be back at the Leicestershire track early in the new year.
The school will continue to offer expert tuition and on-track training to the highest standard, with courses that cater for every level of experience. A new fleet of 2013 machines will grace the school’s new home, with the new-for-2013 CBR600RR, CB500F and CBR500R – alongside the iconic Honda CBR1000RR Fireblade – all available on selected course packages.
“This is excellent news for the owners and staff here at Donington Park. This news is one of the most significant achievements of Donington Park Racing Ltd over the past 3 years since we started again at Donington Park," said Donington MD Christopher Tate.
"To have Honda (UK) agree to come and join our continuing growth, and to see Ron, Ann, and Leon Haslam with their enthusiastic team coming back to Donington Park, is a huge personal thrill, and a real team success for all who work here.”
Previously published school operating dates will remain effective, with the school opening for business from the 10 April 2013 and with courses running right through the summer, up until 9 October.
