World Supermoto star Christian Iddon will be joining young Northern Irish ace Josh Elliott to contest the 2009 German IDM Supersport championship with the Direct CCTV Racedays team.

Christian has already tested successfully with Racedays in Valencia, and the teams decision to switch to the German series from European Superstock 600s will mean he can compete in both World Supermoto and the IDM championships.

Joshua Elliot comes from a season in MotoGP's Red Bull Rookies and will be one of the youngest racers ever to compete in IDM Supersport. Josh has shown that his age won't prove a barrier though as he has already got to grips with Racedays Honda CBR 600s, posting consistently fast times at recent tests in Jerez.
