Issuing a statement of intent in reaction to the confirmation that Suzuki Motor Corporation would be withdrawing all full factory support from both MotoGP and EWC championships at the close of the 2022 season, Yoshimura Japan and SERT confirmed the partnership’s “motivation is unchanged.’

“Suzuki Motor Corporation informed us the intention to end its factory support for the EWC program at the end of the 2022 season,’ a statement read.

“The riders and the whole crew put everything into winning the 2021 EWC title, and now continue to try in repeating that success in 2022, and then prepare as best for 2023.

“We extend our huge thanks to all our partners and fans for their invaluable support, and we look forward to seeing them at the Suzuki 8-Hours at the beginning of August.”
