Can Oncu will start a crucial opening World Supersport race at the Circuito do Estoril from pole position.
For the fourth time this season, Can Oncu has claimed pole position in the World Supersport Championship for the Yamaha bLU cRU Evan Bros Team.
The Yamaha bLU cRU Evan Bros Team will start first and second on the front row at Estoril, as Alberto Surra will join his teammate, Can Oncu, on the front row.
Valentin Debise had a solid weekend at MotorLand Aragon and will start from the front row at Circuito Estoril as he qualified in third place for the Renzi Corse Ducati squad.
The QJMOTOR Factory Racing squad will feature on the second row of the grid, as Raffaele de Rosa will start from fourth place on the grid.
Marcel Schroetter has been in a run of poor form as he has not featured in the top ten since Misano, but he will start from fifth place at Estoril this weekend.
The third Yamaha rider inside the top ten on the grid in the World Supersport Championship is Lucas Mahias, who will start from sixth place for the GMT94 Yamaha squad.
Ducati locked out the third row of the grid at the Circuito Estoril, with Philipp Oettl in seventh for the Feel Racing WorldSSP Team, Ondrej Vostatek will start from eighth with the WRP Racing squad, and Federico Caricasulo will complete the third row in ninth for the D34G Racing WorldSSP Team.
Completing the top ten on the grid is the PTR Triumph Factory Racing rider, Tom Booth-Amos.
The World Supersport Championship leader, Stefano Manzi, will start from 13th on the grid for the opening race this weekend.
British rider Josh Whatley will start his first race in the World Supersport Championship in 27th place on the grid.
