Stefano Manzi took victory in both World Supersport races around the Balaton Park Circuit and extended his Championship lead.

The Pata Yamaha Ten Kate Racing rider, Stefano Manzi, extended his World Supersport Championship lead this weekend after he won both races around the Balaton Park Circuit.

Simon Jespersen had his first visit to the World Supersport podium this season as he finished in second place for the ECOsantagata Althea Racing Team.

Completing the podium was the Yamaha bLU cRU Evan Bros Team rider of Can Oncu. However, the Turkish rider lost ground to Manzi in the standings and could not fight him in the final race before the summer break.

Oliver Bayliss missed out on a podium visit this weekend after battling with Oncu in the latter laps of the second World Supersport race, but he secured his best result of the year with a fourth place.

Both Valentin Debise and Jaume Masia carved their way through the field as they came from the back end of the grid to finish in fifth and sixth places.

Despite early moments for Roberto Garcia at the start of the race, he was able to recover to a seventh-place finish on the GMT94 Yamaha.

Xavi Cardelus finished inside the top ten in both races at Balaton Park as he claimed an eighth-place finish in Race Two to go along with his tenth place in Race One.

After a DNF on Saturday, Mattia Casadei was back inside the top ten on Sunday as he finished in ninth place for the Motozoo ME AIR Racing squad.

Completing the top ten was the British rider, Tom Booth-Amos on the PTR Triumph Factory Racing machine.
