OMG Racing has confirmed it will become Yamaha's official factory representative in the British Superbike Championship (BSB) from next season as part of a new multi-year deal.

Champions using Yamaha machinery in 2022 with Bradley Ray, the deal was anticipated in the wake of a decision by Raceways McAMS' - current holders of the factory role - to step away from BSB at the end of the season.

The deal marks a rise in status for OMG Racing, which will receive official factory backing direct from a manufacturer for the first time since making its BSB debut in 2018. After spending two seasons with customer Suzuki machinery, it switched to BMW for two further seasons before settling on Yamaha for 2022.

It would go on to cause a major upset by out-performing the official McAMS Yamaha squad with its title win, winning nine races between Ray and Kyle Ryde. It has continued with Ryde and signed Ryan Vickers for its ongoing 2023 BSB title defence.
