Results from Race 1 at the 2026 Thruxton BSB, the first race of three at round seven of the 2026 season.
Kyle Ryde took victory in Race 1 at Thruxton, which was red flagged at the start of lap 17 when Max Cook tangled with Leon Haslam on the exit of the final chicane and crashed, hitting the barrier. Cook was shown on broadcast images being carried away on a stretcher.
Rory Skinner scored his first podium of the season in second, ahead of Ryan Vickers in third, the Honda rider also standing on the podium for the first time in 2026.
Bradley Ray was fourth, ahead of Scott Redding who led the opening part of the race before dropping back.
Leon Haslam took sixth, ahead of Christian Iddon, Danny Kent, Joe Talbot, and Storm Stacey who rounded out the top-10.

Qualifying
Kyle Ryde took pole position at Thruxton, narrowly beating Max Cook who was just 0.024 seconds adrift of the championship leader in Q2. Scott Redding completed the top-three, who all lapped on the 1:14.5s mark.
Rory Skinner was fourth-fastest and the leading Yamaha, ahead of Bradley Ray and Ryan Vickers in the top-six.
Danny Kent, Leon Haslam, and Ilya Mikhalchik rounded out the front three rows, while Joe Talbot completed the top-10. Jason O'Halloran and Christian Iddon will line up alongside Talbot on the fourth row.
