Moto3 Argentina, Practice Results: David Almansa leads the way at the end of Day One, Scott Ogden finished in eighth

The opening day of the Argentine Grand Prix is all wrapped up for the Moto3 riders and David Almansa is in control after the two Practice sessions.

David Almansa ended Friday Practice on top of the timesheets at Termas de Rio Hondo. The Leopard Racing rider has been competitive in Argentina in the past and is now the favourite for the race.

Red Bull KTM Ajo ended the day in second and third place in Friday afternoon Practice. Alvaro Carpe was in second and Jose Antonio Rueda was in third.

Home hero, Valentin Perrone, ended his first day of his home Grand Prix in fourth place. The Moto3 rookie on the Red Bull KTM Tech3 machine was 0.7 seconds behind Almansa.

LEVELUP - MTA rider, Joel Kelso, ended the day in fifth place. The Australian did not put in too many laps on Friday morning but showed his true pace in the afternoon.

The FRINSA - MT Helmets - MSi squad were in sixth and seventh places at the end of Friday's Practice. Japanese rider, Ryusei Yamanaka, was in sixth and Spaniard, Angel Piqueras, was in seventh.

British rider, Scott Ogden, continues his good form in Argentina as he ended the day in eighth.

Dennis Foggia ended the session in ninth on the CFMoto Aspar machine, the Italian is slowly getting back to grips with the lightweight class.

Adrian Fernandez ended the session in tenth place on his Leopard Racing Honda.
