After a disappointing start to the season, Marco Bezzecchi is looking to make up for his mistakes in Argentina.
Marco Bezzecchi will continue to lead the Aprilia Racing Team at the Grand Prix of the Americas as Jorge Martin remains sidelined.
The Italian has been leading the Aprilia MotoGP project during the 2025 season after Martin picked up several injuries at the start of the season.
However, Bezzecchi's results have not been what Aprilia would have wanted at this stage of the season. He currently sits ninth in the standings and out of the first two race weekends has finished a Sprint Race and a Grand Prix in sixth place.
Last time out in Argentina, Bezzecchi finished the Sprint Race in Argentina but did not get past the first corner in the Grand Prix.
The factory Aprilia rider collided with Fabio Quartararo, ruining both of their races and leaving himself on the floor. However, this weekend Bezzecchi is looking to right his wrongs from the the Argentine Grand Prix.
"I'm happy to go to Austin, especially because I want to make up for the last race," Bezzecchi stated.
"It will be a challenging track, the most physically demanding on the MotoGP calendar, but I'm very motivated.
"I'm really looking forward to this weekend with my team - we're getting to know each other better and things are moving in the right direction."
