Lewis Rollo's 2025 Bennetts British Superbike Championship did not start the way he expected at Navarra.
At the R&G Official British Superbike Test at the Circuito de Navarra, Lewis Rollo had a huge crash on the first day after seven laps.
The Scottish rider was back on track with the SENCAT In Competition Aprilia RSV4, but he suffered a lot of damage to his muscles after his crash.
Luckily, he did not break any bones but will miss the second day of the first test of the 2025 British Superbike Championship.
"Hi everybody, thank you for all the kind messages and all of the support," Rollo said on BSB's social media.
"I had a huge crash yesterday at the second to last turn, I got rushed away to the hospital. But luckily, I have no broken bones, just a lot of damage muscle-wise at the bottom of my back.
"The bike is getting fixed, and I will be healing up when I get home to sunny Scotland, and I will be ready for the official Donington Park Test."
The 2024 Bennetts British Superbike Championship was Rollo's debut season on a Superbike. The Scottish rider entered the class on a Pathway Aprilia RSV4 with the SENCAT In Competition squad.
During his rookie season, Rollo topped the Bennetts British Superbike Pathway Championship by 105 points.
Rollo also ended the season 18th in the Bennetts British Superbike Championship with 76 points and a podium to his name after he finished second at Snetterton.
