After Jose Antonio Rueda topped Friday's proceedings, Adrian Fernandez took over on Saturday morning.
Adrian Fernandez took top spot in Free Practice Two at the Spanish Grand Prix on Saturday morning. The Spaniard took over from Jose Antonio Rueda, who topped both Practice sessions on Friday.
After a difficult Friday, Joe Kelso was able to make his way up to second place at the end of the session. The Australian rider will be in Q2 after ending Friday in the top 14, but set his best lap in Free Practice Two.
Jose Antonio Rueda could not match his pace from Friday, but he did not need to in this session. The Spaniard still holds the fastest Moto3 lap of the weekend ahead of Qualifying.
David Munoz continued to float around the middle of the top ten. On Friday afternoon, Munzo was in sixth place and ended Saturday morning in fourth place.
The second Honda rider to feature in the top ten was David Almansa on the Leopard Racing machine. The Spaniard was half a second behind his teammate in the opening session of the day.
Just outside of the top five was British rider Scott Ogden on the CIP Green Power machine. Ogden missed out on a Q2 place on Friday but was back on the pace on Saturday morning.
The second Liqui Moly Dynavolt Intact GP rider, Guido Pini, ended the morning in seventh place on his KTM.
The third Honda rider to feature in the top ten was Riccardo Rossi on the Rivacold Snipers Team machine. The Italian ended the morning in eighth place and was 0.9 seconds behind Fernandez.
Completing the top ten were Alvaro Carpe in ninth place and Ryusei Yamanaka in tenth place. The Spaniard and the Japanese rider have been on the pace all weekend and could be in contention on Sunday.
