Italian WorldSBK, Race Two Results | Nicolo Bulega completed a perfect weekend at Cremona

Gold & Goose

For the third time this weekend, it was Nicolo Bulega who claimed victory at the Cremona Circuit.

Nicolo Bulega claimed his third win of the weekend as he dominated the proceedings at the Italian World Superbike Round. The Italian claimed pole position on Saturday and then went on to win all three races across the weekend.

Toprak Razgatlioglu had to settle for three second places at the Cremona Circuit as he could not fight with Bulega. The Turkish rider continued to struggle with his BMW in the second half of the longer races.

After a terrible start to his weekend with several crashes on Friday, Alvaro Bautista put together a decent weekend. The Spaniard finished third in all three races and had his best round of the 2025 World Superbike Championship.

Danilo Petrucci was unable to repeat his 2024 form at Cremona this season. Last year, the Italian won all three races, but this season his best result was fourth in Race Two.

Sam Lowes was under the weather on Sunday but was able to fight for the top five. The British rider crossed the line in fifth place on the ELF Marc VDS Ducati.

Iker Lecuona crashed out of the first two races this weekend, but finished the final race at Cremona. The Spaniard ended up crossing the line in sixth place on the Honda CBR1000RR-R.

Xavi Vierge was in fifth place for the majority of the race, but struggled towards the end of the race. The Spaniard crossed the line in seventh place and appeared to have tyre issues in the latter laps.

The top Yamaha rider was Andrea Locatelli on the Pata Maxus Yamaha. Despite taking victory at the final race of the Dutch World Superbike Round, he had to settle with eighth in the final race at Cremona.

Michael van der Mark was back in the top ten as he finished in ninth place and narrowly beat the GYTR GRT Yamaha WorldSBK rider, Remy Gardner, who was in tenth.
